Sustainability

We aim to be as sustainable as possible at Myponga Beach Luxe. The property currently uses rainwater and a septic tank system.

Please help us with our aim to be sustainable by conserving water where possible.

Check In

Property access instructions will be sent to you prior to check in which is from 3pm on the first day of your booking.

Check Out

Check out is 10am. Please contact the host to arrange an extended checkout time if required.

Minimum night booking

Two night minimum bookings are standard, however in peak times this can extend to three-night minimums. Please check the booking link for relevant minimum night booking lengths for your dates.

Self catering

A small amount of kitchen staples are provided in the home to ensure you have essentials on arrival. Groceries can be purchased from the supermarket in Normanville (about 10 minutes drive south of Myponga Beach). There are also a number of restaurants located locally - visit the Myponga Beach Life page for details.

What’s in the kitchen?

Full fridge, oven, steam oven, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. All expected utensils are included as well as coffee and tea supplies. A gas BBQ is on the verandah.

What’s in the house?

Myponga Beach Luxe is a four-bedroom home, each with a queen sized bed. Two living spaces are prefect for families and small groups. The main bedroom features walk in robe and ensuite. The main bathroom services the remaining bedrooms.

A kitchen, living and dining area features breathtaking views of the hills and sea.

While the home also has a laundry, water conservation measures are appreciated, particularly during drier months.

Unlimited WiFi

Stay connected with fast, unlimited WiFi powered by Starlink—seamless streaming, browsing, and remote work at your fingertips.

Security

The property has two cameras installed for security. One overlooks the driveway, the other overlooks the grassed area in front of the verandah. If guests require the grass area camera to be turned off during the stay, please contact the host.

Wildlife

Kangaroos, rabbits, foxes, rosellas, galahs, piping shrikes and cockatoos can all be seen from the home and visit regularly.

Pests

As the property is a rural farm, pests can sometimes be present. The Fleurieu Peninsula does experience times when millipedes, beetles and earwigs are abundant. Measures are taken to ensure these are managed as ecologically as possible.
