Set on the hill side behind the Carrickalinga township is a renovated historic shearing shed that was the main shearing location for the Forktree Estate many years ago. Take in the sunsets from the deck while enjoying Forktree Brewing beers on tap, local wines and ciders and a seasonal menu.

Smiling Samoyed
Every single drop of Smiling Samoyed beer, in both kegs or in bottles, has been made and packaged on site at Myponga. Visitors can see the brewery through a window from the dining room and can even see the brewers in action on the brew-house on occasion.

The Victory Hotel
The Victory Hotel is a restored restaurant/pub dating from 1858, which offers an extensive restaurant and front bar “pub” menu of locally sourced fresh produce from the nearby coastal and country areas. The Victory is renowned for its outstanding wine cellar with a vast array of local, Australian, and international wines. The Victory Hotel is situated with a stunning outlook over the coastal areas of Sellicks Beach, Aldinga Bay and Fleurieu districts.

Myponga Reservoir
The Myponga Reservoir Reserve offers a number of recreational activities including walking and running trails and picnic areas. You can also visit the lookout to take in the scenic surrounds, do a spot of fishing, or head out on the water for a paddle in your canoe or kayak and explore the 250 hectares of water.

Just a short drive down the hill you’ll find the Myponga Beach foreshore. Secluded and quiet, you’ll share the beach with minimal others most days. With ample parking, make sure you pack the boogie boards and the bucket and spade.
